RideLite meets the needs of today’s
weight-conscious fleets. Foremost to the
RideLite’s lightweight design is its noncaptured
axle, an economical feature that allows for axle
replacement, if necessary, while the suspension
is preserved and reattached to the new axle.
Weight savings were obtained by the use of Grade
80 high tensile steel combined with a streamlined
pivot bolt and a lightweight alignment system.
For further weight savings, the use of a cross
channel or
additional wings at the hanger is not required.

Non-Captured Axle

A patented contoured weld-on axle seat
optimizes axle weldment by decreasing stress
concentrations. No U-bolts are
required.
Smooth Installation

RideLite’s installation process has been
described as
“seamless” by leading trailer manufacturers.
The unit fits
virtually all air-ride designed frame
configurations without
relocation of cross members. Also
contributing to a
streamlined installation are self-contained
shock absorbers,
prelocated height control valve mountings and
the Huckboltsecured
solid rubber, double-bonded pivot bushing.
With
these parts in place, proper tolerances are
insured.
Simple Alignment

Alignment
is easier than ever with new Speedset feature
which permits 1" manual adjustment at the
hanger with a pivot bolt torque requirements of
only 450 ft-lbs.
